Sure, you could be in Paris, watching the F/W Haute Couture shows for Givenchy and Chanel.
Or you could be where it’s really happening: on your phone, reading the Guild Of Dough blog, right at the forefront of 2026’s food trends.
We’re like Vogue for vittles.

Hojicha
Matcha’s sophisticated older sister. Hojicha is roasted green tea, making it taste more nutty, with hints of toasted caramel. We’re expecting to see this in place of matcha in iced lattes, desserts and baked treats. Sure, it’s not as brightly coloured, but sometimes a drink can be the perfect neutral to finish that fresh-from-pilates outfit. Try it over ice with a shot of cherry syrup for a little taste of spring, or pair it with vanilla and oat milk for a drink that’s creamy, comforting, and oh-so-now.
Bye Bye, Protein
Last year may have been about how you look on the outside, but 2026 is all about what’s on the inside. Forget protein - this year is all about diets that fit your lifestyle choices, with a particular focus on nutrient-dense eating. Fibre is still a key player, with brands like XOXO and Fibe making it easy for you to stay hydrated and regular.
Our Guild Of Dough kimchi sourdough is packed with prebiotics, with a fibre boost from wholemeal flour - and it’s delicious too! Pair it with a whipped tofu dip, or top with smashed avocado and poached eggs as an easy and impressive morning-after brunch - nothing says sexy like a healthy gut biome.
Look East
Goodbye, chilli crisp - hello, shatta! 2026 is the year we look a little closer to home, with Middle Eastern flavours set to be the big players this year. Think labneh instead of cream cheese, or amba instead of chutney. Sure, you could pick up a falafel, or you could try something new with a sabich sandwich - load your favourite flatbread with fried aubergine, hummus, chopped salad, tahini, and a hard-boiled egg. Just don’t forget a napkin (or four).
Swalty
Remember swicy? This is its less-chilli-jam (sorry, Jamie Oliver), more-bacon-jam cousin. Whether its a classic salted caramel, a gingerbread Dorito, or a toast-enriched chocolate bar, we’re all looking for a bit more sweetness in 2026. Try it at home with recipes like this watermelon and feta salad, or tuck some thinly-sliced apple into your grilled cheese sandwich.
Or just pick up a Guild Of Dough brownie and top it with a pinch of coarse sea salt. Easy, quick, and totally on trend.
Blue
Blue food, blue drinks, blue snacks. Just trust us on this one.
