Sure, they’re cute names, but what do they really mean?

Here at Guild Of Dough, we’ve taken some of our favourite shades of our bakes this year.

Each crumb, each dash of flour, each missed chocolate chip – we’ve analysed them all to come up with colour profiles that really mean something to us.

Like that golden pastry flake left on your jumper from your morning croissant.

The caramel of the sesame seeds that fall off when you first slice into a loaf of our classic kimchi sourdough.

That earthy brown from leaving your piece of farmhouse in the toaster just a moment too long.

Rather than letting some ‘experts’ choose our colour of the year, we thought we’d let our favourite people have their say – you!
